Amigos sells drysuits and drygear from one provider only and that is Kokatat. We can sell any product that Kokatat carries. Since we focus on drysuits here on this site, we have listed Kokatat’s most often ordered and used suits. But please do not forget that Kokatat sells many products…from T-Shirts to Sea Kayaking Jackets to PFD’s.

I have seen literally thousands of drysuits over the last 8 years come through my doors. I have inspected each one inside and out. They have come in from every major and minor manufacturer than one could name. In every case, the suits that hold up the best, that are made with the highest quality materials, with the finest craftsmanship-have been the Kokatat’s. After 8 years I finally decided to begin selling them.
When I was a mere lad of 18 years old I was sporting a Kokatat Polar Fleece jacket before Polar Fleece was called Polar Fleece. These guys have been around since 1972 churning out high quality gear with warranty program’s that make you smile.
Please note that I sell direct to you. There is no one click ordering via my site, where one can just buy the suit based upon a picture. You can do that on any site, buying from someone you have never spoken with. That just isn’t how we roll…and yes…that is a kayaking pun.
When You Buy From Us:
- if not in stock or a stocked size, your drygear is custom built and delivered within 2 months, sometimes even sooner.
- the suit is ordered and crafted with your exact measurements taken into account.
- custom features can be added or subtracted, depending upon the situation.
- I will take the time to help you figure out which suit best fits your needs, usage and budget.
- you are buying from someone who paddles, surfs, sails, talks to Kokatat on a weekly basis, and has worked on more drysuits than realistically believable.
When You Buy a Kokatat Elsewhere:
Anyone can hop on the internet and find a Kokatat for sale somewhere. But that suit will be pre-stocked, which means the suit may have been sitting there for quite a while, sometimes it can be a full season old or more. This translates to older gaskets that won’t last as long once you buy the suit. The suit also may not have the custom features that you seek, locking you into a suit that is “almost” what you really want. Why spend that much money for a suit that is almost right? The salesperson may not take the time to really discuss with you which features make sense for you out of Kokatat’s numerous drygear options.
